Bob Smith is an EDA software and semiconductor industry veteran with deep marketing and business development experience. He is presently the CEO of InTime Software, an early-stage EDA software company.

Emerging Company/Transactional experience:
As the Vice President, Marketing and Business Development of Magma Design Automation, Bob led the company through its growth from $0 to $100M in annual revenues and helped deliver Magma’s IPO in 2001. As a Director of Marketing at Synopsys, he managed the launches of all the company’s initial synthesis products, and was on the IPO team that took the company public in 1992.

Bob serves as a consultant and advisor to start-up companies and venture firms. His previous experience includes VP of Marketing and Business Development at LogicVision.

Education:
Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
