Mohammad is a semiconductor industry veteran with more than 27 years experience in the high-tech field. He is currently a Managing Director with K2 Ventures.
Emerging Company/Transactional experience:
Mohammad was the general manager of the memory and Programmable: Logic Device (P: LD) business for Intel Corporation and increased revenue by $30M in three years before selling it for more than $100M. He also played an integral part in managing the divestiture of Intel’s Flash memory card business.
Company Affiliation/Investments:
Mohammad is serving on the advisory board for a few portfolio companies as a consultant in fundraising, acquisition, IP licensing and general management. He was the lead person in a $1.6B acquisition of DSP Communication.
Education:
Mohammad has a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science from University of Karachi, Pakistan.
